Trail Names and Water

Very few people know my real name, or should I say “given” name. If you don’t know it by now, don’t think I’m announcing it here. Instead, for the next 7 months I will be answering to my new trail name, which is Digdeep.
On the trail, no one goes by their real name and most hikers are given names that reflect their personalities (or bodily functions). I’m going with a name that gives me the chance to bring attention to my favorite nonprofit, Digdeep.org. Don’t worry, I’m not hiking for pledges or asking for any money, but I would love for everyone to take a minute to look up water for Navajos. There you can read all about Digdeep and their projects and there is also a great little video called “The Water Lady” which was featured on the CBS Sunday morning show.
If you think Flint has problems……
Anyway, sometimes we all need to dig a little deeper. Into our minds, our hearts, and yes, sometimes in to our pockets!
Give a little and have a big glass of water!
Cheers,
Digdeep
